TROUBLE IN SOUTH PARK

I'm not a big South Park fan. Generally speaking, I think making fun of people is pretty rotten, and the bulk of South Park humor revolves around trashing some group of people or another. Having watched a few episodes, I'm sure that I'm not really missing anything too important by not watching it.
For my readers that do watch the show, it turns out that Isaac Hayes (the voice of the chef) is quitting because of the show's religious insensitivity. After being on the show for nearly 10 years and 150 episodes -- episodes that regularly ridiculed religions of all types -- Hayes decided that the show has gone too far. How far is "too far?" Apparently, it's when his own crazy religion gets ridiculed on an episode. Hayes is a scientologist, and apparently wasn't willing to take what he was dishing out.
From the article:
(Matt) Stone said: "In 10 years and over 150 episodes of South Park, Isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslim, Mormons or Jews.
"He got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show."
What a spineless jerk.
