This section introduces game mechanics and concepts used with the Balance Role Playing Game. It provides definitions for easier understanding.
While Combat plays an important role in Balance, many of the Penalty and Bonus mechanics of the game are intended to be used both in and out of combat. Mechanics like Balance Shock and Fatigue can penalize a character’s ability to engage in combat, as well as non-combat actions like kicking open a door or lifting a heavy box.
