Wit-Based Classes

All Wit-based Classes have Wit as their Primary Class, followed by a Secondary Class that shapes their strengths and weakness.

At every new level attained, the player:

  • Rolls 1d6 and distributes the value between Brawn + Discipline Core Stats, and then increases their associated Attributes as desired from the distributed points.
  • Rolls 1d6 and distributes the value between Reflex + Wit Core Stats, and then increases their associated Attributes as desired from the distributed points.

All Wit-based Classes gain the following:

BATTLE TACTICIAN

(Wit + Brawn)

Battle Tacticians are master strategists, leveraging physical prowess and sharp intellect to dominate the battlefield through planning and execution.

 

Abilities
  • Calculated Strike: Battle Tacticians can achieve Focus in 1 turn instead of 2
Combat
  • Rallying Cry: (Action) Allies within 10 feet gain +2 to Attack and +1 to Defense for 1d6 turns
  • Exploit Weakness: +2 to Attack against enemies already injured during this combat

SHADOW FIGHTER

(Wit + Reflex)

Shadow Fighters blend cunning with agility, thriving on deception and lightning-quick movements to confuse and overwhelm their opponents.

Combat
  • Feint: +2 to Attack against an enemy who has attacked earlier in the round and misses
  • Shadowstep: +3 to Defense before this character’s initiative turn. After their initiative turn, defense returns to normal
  • Unseen Strike: +2 to Attack against an opponent who has attacked an ally this round

BARD

(Wit + Discipline)

Bards weave intellect and self-control into captivating performances that inspire allies, confuse enemies, and manipulate the battlefield.

 

Abilities
  • Song of Rest: All allies regain 1 Health Point. This can be done once per day. This cannot be done during combat.
  • Song of Balance: All allies are relieved of 1 instance of Balance shock. This can be done once per day. This cannot be done during combat.
Combat
  • Inspire Courage: Allies within hearing range gain +1 to Attack for 1d6 turns. Player must recite an inspiring limerick. This benefit can only be repeated after the 1d6 turns have ended.
  • Cutting Words: Enemies within hearing range get -2 to Attack for 1d6 turns when the character delivers a witty insult. Player must recite an insulting Haiku. This penalty can only be repeated after the 1d6 turns have ended.
