The God who knows your Fear

91 words · April 28, 2026

Then God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel and live there, and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.” Genesis 35:1 (NASB)

In Genesis 35, God identifies himself to Jacob as the one who met him in his fear. As the God who was there in his darkest hour.

Perhaps this is how God truly meets all of us. And perhaps when God says, "fear not," God isn't talking about himself, but rather about the thing you're dealing with.
