I hope one day you discover that “repent” doesn’t mean “say sorry or I won’t forgive you.”
Repenting is about restoring what was, and bringing about that which was always meant to be.
It means to come home.
Repent and trust that God is good.
Light and Life
It’s not an image of having life, and then fearing that you’ll lose it if you mess up.
“Let there be Light” gives us the clearest picture: it was dark, and then God created Light for you to see what He was going to do next.
