MORE FREE-WILL NONSENSE

It baffles me that some Christians argue that we're all born sinful, entirely unable to not sin, and at the same time maintain that we have total and complete moral free will.

It's absurd, really. I mean... according to that crazy belief system, if a person decides they want to be a Christian, they've made the right choice. Congrats to them -- they've done a great thing. But if they don't, it's because they're corrupt and sinful, obviously. Anybody that rejects the message is clearly of the devil. But they're corrupt and sinful because they're born that way, right? I thought that we're all born that way. So... maybe the people that made the right decision were born just a little less corrupt... but then, it's not like the corrupt and sinful folks really had much choice, since they didn't ask to be born just a little more corrupt.

Bleah. It's no wonder so many people hate today's church. So much of what comes from the pulpit just makes no sense. Pastors should stick to the bible instead of making up their own theology.
