FIRED IT UP!!! VROOM VROOOM! The carburetor wasn't bolted down, and without the proper springs, it was set at wide open, so upon firing it up, the engine revved REALLY high and then died down quickly (it just had gasoline poured into the intake).

I need to check a couple things. when I flipped the ignition switch off (because the engine was revving too high), it started to die down and then started to rev high again... I got kinda scared, so I just yanked wired apart hoping something would happen. It was probably a crossed wire... haha... but I'm not sure exactly what happened, and I don't want it to happen again. I need to close the throttle plate on the carburetor so I can get it to run at idle, and then actuate the carb to make it do something else. Man, I'm so stoked... VROOM VROOM!
