Progress! I went through my "How to Rebuild your Datsun L-series Motor" book, and took care of a few things last night. I put the new piston-rings on my oversized pistons, cleaned out the block with paint thinner and put the new main bearings into the block and the caps. I cleaned off the crank really good and was about to put the crank into the block, but my wife reminded me that I had to work in the morning, and that starting a car project at 10pm probably isn't the best way to get things done. So... that's where I'm at. I took some pictures last night, and when I reorganize this site, I'll make sure to put the pictures on the site.

Oh - when using paint thinner in the garage, it's *probably* a good idea to have the garage door open.
