I finished shaving down all 4 pistons, and will install them into the block either tonight or tomorrow. I just need to clean them up really good, since I don't want aluminum dust mixing into the oil; no sense in adding an abrasive to the oil.

I bought a twin-cartridge respirator since I noticed that the aluminum dust was getting up into the air. I'm not sure how bad aluminum dust can be (I've read conflicting reports), but I figured I wasn't going to take any chances. I hope it worked. I woke up this morning with a sore throat and body aches. I dunno if it's related, or if I'm just getting sick...
